More than 10 km from the town centre

A travel charge of $2 per kilometre beyond the first 10 km applies, measured one way from the nearest designated service town centre. The travel amount is confirmed before the booking is accepted.

No surprises before specialist work begins.

Routine support uses the published rates. Parts, workshop repairs, projects and ongoing business services receive a quote or service agreement.

After-hours and urgent

Available only where a technician opts in. Any surcharge is disclosed before the booking is accepted.

Workshop repairs and parts

Diagnostic charges, expected labour and replacement parts are approved before repair work proceeds.

Projects and managed IT

Fixed-price, monthly or scoped hourly proposals for websites, migrations, networks and ongoing support.

A community business for the purposes of pricing means an approved co-operative, mutual, charity, not-for-profit, social enterprise or locally focused community organisation that joins The Tech Collective as a consumer member.

Business work often carries greater urgency, complexity and commercial responsibility. Businesses can access a lower applicable rate by joining under an eligible membership class or entering an ongoing service agreement.

The first 10 km from the nearest designated service town centre is included. Beyond that, $2 applies for each additional kilometre, measured one way. The applicable town centre and travel charge are confirmed before dispatch.

The technician will explain the diagnosis and realistic options. Time spent diagnosing, securing data or documenting a third-party fault remains chargeable even where repair is uneconomical or outside The Tech Collective’s control.
